The Client

Vedoneire is an Irish clothing brand offering high quality garments. Launched in 1951, the heritage brand produce garments that have a clean modern look with a premium feel. Vedoneire continues to honour its rich 70+ year heritage, blending timeless craftsmanship with contemporary design. We've shot for Vedoneire on multiple occasions, both model and invisible mannequin, with their products being great to work with.

The Brief

Vedoneire approached us needing model photography for their new spring/summer menswear collection of shirts, jackets and knitwear.

The primary use of the images was Vedoneire’s ecommerce website. This meant the images had to be consistent across listings and mirror the current style. The key focus was to show the premium quality of the garments, staying true to the Vedoneire brand.

Model Selection

Our Production Manager, Laura helped to organise the shoot, booking Jamie Roche from Face Model Agency. Jamie has vast experience as a model, and we have worked with him on a number of occasions for various brands. Jamie brought his usual energy to our studio, and was the perfect choice for Vedoneire’s sophisticated style.

Katie O’Dowd was brought in on the shoot to look after Jamie’s Hair and make-up. The shoot required a natural look, and Katie was on hand to ensure everything was perfect on the day.

The Shoot

Photography took place in our dedicated model bay. We painted the bay a light grey colour for the backdrop – this helped to create a modern look to the images which would remain consistent across Vedoneire's website.

We made sure the garments were looking their very best by paying close attention whilst prepping them for the shoot. With the steamers and lint rollers covering every inch of premium fabric, nothing was going to be out of place.

Our lead photographer Paul was on this shoot. Paul worked with Jamie on various poses to create a natural look whilst keeping the images engaging. Paul’s lighting set up was designed to show the premium quality of the garments. He also took detail shots of the fabric to emphasise quality and style.

The Final Shots

The images went through post-production for a standard clean-up. The crop was 3:4 with the majority of the frame being filled by Jamie. We made sure the images looked consistent, and colour-matched the stills to the garments.

We delivered 123 finished images from the one-day shoot, covering 36 different garments and setting Vedoneire up for a new season.
