The Brief
Puma’s UK team approached us for a model shoot that could deliver attitude. They needed their range of oversized graphic T-shirts shooting in their usual style. A crucial element of the brief was to maintain consistency across Puma's ecommerce site. This meant we had to work with models to recreate the style of poses used across the website. Puma use a specific gradient where the background of the images fades from a light to a darker grey.
The Shoot
Emily was the photographer on this shoot, working in our model bay. To create the required background, we used a grey Colorama with the plan to add the darker gradient in post-production.
Emily was able to review the images that the Puma team had sent through as references and adjusted her lighting to match. This helped to maintain the consistency on the Puma website, allowing our images to fit in seamlessly with their current listings.
We worked with model Baily Baker from Face Model Agency. Emily talked Baily through the poses for the T-shirts, all of which included reasonably standard front and back shots to show off the garment’s graphics. This was followed by a dynamic pose for each T-shirt, including crouches, crossed arms, and wide stances.
Go Behind The Scenes
The shoot was fast paced, with Emily working quickly to capture all the required shots.
Final Images
Our post-production team completed the all-important colour matching, to ensure the garments were true to life. The images were then finalised with the gradient, transitioning from the light grey Colorama to a darker grey near the top.
