The Brief
Our brief was to shoot their brand new head wear collection for autumn/winter 18/19 on location down in Cornwall. The shoot had to be natural and had to capture the models taking part in regular outdoor activities, the images would then be used on the website and as part of the look book.

We arranged the flights and models with the client and worked together on the style guides and potential sites to use around their chosen location, 7th Rise. www.7thrise.co.uk

We sent down photographer, Paul, and Social Media Coordinator, Nicola to capture 'behind the scenes' and social media content for the two day shoot.

Day 1 - Travel, Meetings and Locations
Paul and Nicola travelled to Manchester Airport with the equipment and met models Harrison and Olivia there and flew down to Newquay airport where they were picked up by the client, Annie.
Once they reached the location, Paul and Annie discussed potential areas to use for the shoot and at what time of day they would be most suited to for the lighting. After a run through of this, along with style guides and product, Paul set up in the first location.

As the client didn't want it to feel too styled, the models were asked to act casual as if the camera's weren't there. Locations included: tree house, foraging in the woods, fishing at the edge of the lake, hanging out as friends, etc.

After wardrobe and product changes in a range of different locations were completed, the team stopped for dinner and continued again working through the rest of the locations as sun set approached. At this point locations inluded: sitting round the fire and toasting marshmallows, chilling out together indoors on the sofas. At 10:30pm shooting stopped and all celebrated a successful day with a beer!

Day 2
The team started up again at 6:30am for sun rise, and began planning the day around the tide so that the beach area could be accessed safely. After breakfast, the models got ready and the shoot commenced! More locations included: cooking, more foraging, product shots for social media and a boat ride out for Paul! At 10:30am the client called a wrap on the shoot and of course a group photo was absolutely necessary! A short plane ride back up north to HQ and the two day shoot was a complete success!

Back in the studio
All the images were carefully selected and sent through to the client and once the chosen ones were selected, our post production team tweaked the images to perfection and sent them through a week after the job started! We had one happy client!
